Job Title: Public Health Engineer - Design and Delivery Specialist

Job Summary:

Ramboll Group A/S is seeking a highly skilled Public Health Engineer to join our team as a Design and Delivery Specialist. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, with a focus on Public Health and Fire Suppression systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Leadership: Lead and coordinate project teams to deliver high-quality Public Health and Fire Suppression systems.
  • Design and Delivery: Contribute to the overall design and delivery of projects, ensuring that they meet the required standards and specifications.
  • Digital Automation and Optimization: Identify opportunities for digital automation and optimization of building systems, interfaces, and component parts.
  • Technical Risk Management: Monitor and manage technical risk throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to site visits.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Liaise and interact with other UK Building Services teams, as well as our Overseas Resourcing Centres, to deliver projects from a wide range of sectors.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, ensuring that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Continuous Professional Development: Pursue continuous professional development, including working towards chartership with a recognized institution, and promoting the field of Public Health.

About You:

To succeed in this role, you must have a solid grounding in engineering principles and an inquisitive nature and enthusiasm for the built environment. You should have a Bachelor's degree in engineering or a relevant subject, or equivalent, and previous experience with leading and coordinating all aspects of project delivery, with a bias towards Public Health.

Requirements:

  • Security Clearance: Must have been in the UK for a minimum of 5 years.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong technical knowledge in the field of Public Health and Fire Suppression, including Water Services, Above Ground Drainage (including Rainwater Disposal Systems), and Below Ground Drainage (including SUDS) and Gas Services.
  • Software Skills: Proficient using Bluebeam, AutoCAD, Excel, and Revit.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to make complex concepts simple and clear.
