Academic Mentor Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Academic Mentor to join our dynamic English department. As an integral part of our team, you will work closely with students aged 11-16 who require additional support in small group or one-on-one settings.

Your role will be crucial in helping students progress academically, particularly in overcoming setbacks caused by the Covid pandemic. You will work closely with students to identify areas of improvement and develop strategies to enhance their learning.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide academic support to students in small group or one-on-one settings
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance student learning and progress
  • Work closely with students to identify areas of improvement and develop personalized learning plans
  • Collaborate with the English department to ensure consistency and quality of support

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications and training for the role
  • Experience working with students aged 11-16
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
