Job Title: Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our team in a primary school setting. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the education of children in a primary age group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing classroom support to teachers, assisting with guided reading, maths, and English lessons, as well as phonics and general classroom activities. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to become permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supporting whole class teaching in primary age range (4-11)
  • Assisting with guided reading, maths, and English lessons
  • Providing general classroom support
  • Working closely with teachers to develop and implement lesson plans
  • Supporting the development of phonics and literacy skills
Requirements:
  • CACHE level 2 or CACHE level 3 qualification
  • Good subject and phonics knowledge
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Passionate and enthusiastic approach to education
