About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced technical leader to join our Cross Boundary Team as a Senior Technical Lead. This is a unique opportunity to drive strategy and innovation, leading on the application development and coordination of technical teams to create and maintain products and services for the Department of Work & Pensions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of engineers, providing guidance and advice to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Develop and implement technical strategies to drive innovation and improvement across the organization.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment to the wider DWP technical strategy and achieve mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Contribute to critical business discussions to inform strategy across areas such as software development, engineering, DevOps, and solution architecture.
Requirements
  • Experience of leading a team of engineers and providing guidance and advice to ensure the delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience of developing and implementing technical strategies to drive innovation and improvement.
  • Ability to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure alignment to the wider DWP technical strategy and achieve mutually acceptable solutions.
