Job Opportunity: Line Supervisor

We are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity for a Line Supervisor to join our team at New Resource Group. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about leading high-performing teams and driving business growth.

About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the output, productivity, quality, and personnel within their assigned cell. They will also train and develop direct reports, manage discipline, and oversee attendance, holidays, and sickness records.

Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor daily output and track trends in productivity, quality, and inventory
• Implement necessary improvements to processes and procedures
• Manage staff performance, address underperformance, conduct disciplinary investigations, and provide coaching
• Oversee attendance, manage holidays and sickness records, and conduct return-to-work interviews
• Ensure operators are trained on SOPs, maintain training records, and identify skill gaps for development planning
• Drive process improvement, support value streams, and foster a culture of continuous change
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to health and safety policies

Requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in a production management role
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Ability to motivate and deal with conflict in an appropriate and professional manner
• Strong problem-solving skills and initiative
• Understanding of lean manufacturing principles and MRP systems
• IT literacy (Microsoft Office)

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience
