Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Technician to play a key role in the delivery of our award-winning events at Thorpe Park Resort. As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the daily operation of all production aspects of our events, including project installations, daily operations of shows, maintenance checks of all attractions, and derigging of seasonal events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and maintain maze attractions to ensure safe and efficient operation
  • Perform maintenance checks on all attractions and ensure technical elements are functioning correctly
  • Liaise with internal staff, contractors, and guests to answer questions and provide great customer satisfaction
  • Operate AV equipment and sound and lighting desks for show productions
  • Assist in the design and programming of safety legislation and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Work with the technical management team to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with the team to deliver innovative and ever-changing stage shows

Requirements

  • Training within production arts
  • Real-life working experience within the industry
  • Hands-on experience in lighting technology, programming, and rigging
  • Hands-on experience with audio technology, programming, and rigging
  • Ability to live mix audio levels on a sound desk
  • Hands-on experience with special effects and pyrotechnics
  • Good knowledge of entertainment industry technical systems
  • Ability to follow instructions and work as a team
  • Working knowledge of industry electrical systems and safety legislation
  • Experience with network-based systems and industry-standard software
