Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Locum Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist to join our team at the Royal Alexandra Hospital. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive obstetric and gynaecological services to the population of Clyde, working closely with our established team of consultants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality obstetric and gynaecological care, including acute and emergency services, elective caesarean section lists, and general and specialist outpatient clinics.
• Contribute to the development and support of new initiatives in the department, working collaboratively with colleagues to improve patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call rotas for both obstetric and gynaecology services, ensuring seamless coverage and patient care.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care and support.

Requirements:

• Full GMC registration and a licence to practise.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge in obstetrics and gynaecology, with the ability to apply evidence-based practice.
• Ability to work flexibly and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
