About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Fellow to join our Renal Transplant team at North Bristol NHS Trust. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our transplant service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in the assessment and management of patients undergoing renal transplantation, including pre-transplant evaluation and post-transplant care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and protocols for renal transplant care.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care and optimize outcomes.
  • Engage in research and quality improvement initiatives to advance the field of renal transplantation.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure excellent patient experience and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Higher academic qualification (e.g., MD or MSc) in a relevant field.
  • Recent experience and familiarity with UK hospital systems and practices.
  • Completion of Foundation Years 1 & 2 (or equivalent).
  • Training in laparoscopic surgery.
  • Experience in audit projects and written up research.
  • Interest in research and publications in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Demonstration of involvement in clinical directorate management.
