Phlebotomist Role Overview
The Relief Phlebotomist position involves traveling to stores within a 60-minute radius of the base store. Travel expenses are covered by Boots.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcoming participants, verifying their details, and explaining the phlebotomy procedure.
- Conducting measurements such as height, weight, and waist circumference.
- Managing clerical tasks, including coordinating appointment bookings and ensuring adequate stock levels.
- Taking and maintaining venous blood samples from participants.
- Supporting the healthcare counter, providing advice on healthcare products and services.
Requirements
- Previous experience as a Phlebotomist is desirable, but full training will be provided.
- Ability to work calmly under pressure and independently.
- Empathetic and able to interact sensitively.
- Digitally savvy and comfortable with technology.
- Passionate about healthcare and customer care.
- Prepared to learn and complete a Healthcare Training Programme.
- Flexibility to work weekends.
