About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Youth Support Worker to join our team at Shaw Trust. As a Senior Residential Youth Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing a safe and nurturing environment for young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home and Deputy Manager in the day-to-day running of the home, taking on senior duties when required
  • Help create a safe, nurturing environment where young people feel at home
  • Work alongside the team to implement care plans and strategies that enable young people to overcome emotional and behavioural difficulties
  • Build strong, positive relationships with young people, their families, and external agencies to ensure holistic care
