About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Debt Advice Specialist to join our team in Dorset. As a Debt Advice Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive debt advice services to individuals on probation or leaving custody.

Salary and Benefits:

The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £26,460 per annum, plus benefits including up to 25 days annual leave, EAP Support programme, private medical insurance, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide debt advice services to individuals on probation or leaving custody
  • Work with local probation services to support service users with finance, benefit, and debt assessments and action plans
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including local authorities and other community-based organisations

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

Experience working with vulnerable and challenging individualsKnowledge of the justice system and/or criminal psychologyStrong communication and interpersonal skills
