Procurement and Contracts Officer Role

Venn Group is seeking a skilled Procurement and Contracts Officer to join our team. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of urban transport across the region.

This is an exciting time to join our team as we expand our metro network. As Procurement and Contracts Officer, you will be responsible for leading procurement activities, ensuring that contracts are in place to support a reliable, safe, and eco-friendly operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead procurement processes for the metro service, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure seamless collaboration and high standards.
  • Manage and monitor contracts, ensuring partners deliver on their promises within budget.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to drive continuous improvement in our procurement activities.
  • Support the procurement of high-value materials and services that keep the metro network running smoothly.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in procurement, with a strong understanding of procurement processes and contract management.
  • Hold, or be working towards, a CIPS qualification (or equivalent).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
