We are seeking a highly skilled Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in Acute Care. As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and leadership to our acute care services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide medical leadership to the multidisciplinary team and ensure timely communication and care planning with Community Mental Health Teams (CMHTs).
- Work collaboratively with CMHTs to ensure continuity of care and robust discharge planning.
- Provide medical oversight of admissions and discharges, including handovers of consultant responsibility.
- Supervise junior doctors and provide training and development opportunities.
- Work closely with the sector consultant, CMHT, and local authorities to provide continuity of care and robust discharge planning.

Requirements- MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
- Fully registered with the GMC with a licence to practise at the time of appointment.
- Included on GMC Specialist Register or within 6 months of completing CCT.
- Approved Clinician status or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
- Approved under S12 or able to achieve within 3 months of appointment.
