Housekeeping and Laundry Associate

At Avery Healthcare, we strive to deliver exceptional care and service to our residents. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as a Housekeeping Assistant.
This role involves maintaining high standards of cleanliness and laundry throughout the care home, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment for our residents.
You will be working as part of a team to ensure hotel service standards are maintained, operating within our established standard operating procedures for housekeeping and laundry.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out all cleaning duties in accordance with worksheet instructions.
- Understanding the cleaning requirements of different surfaces and coverings, ensuring all areas are well presented and maintained in good condition.
- Ensuring all residents are treated with dignity and respect, and their personal space and belongings are always respected.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate our values of caring, supportive, honest, respectful, and accountable in all your actions.
We are looking for someone with knowledge of Health and Safety, particularly Moving and Handling techniques, Fire Safety, and COSHH assessments.
You will also need experience of cleaning laundry in a public setting and the ability to be adaptive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities at short notice.
