About the Role

We are seeking an exceptional Chief Financial Strategist to join our client, a leading marketing company. This is a fantastic opportunity for a technically strong and commercially astute individual to provide commercial support to the divisional MD and help shape business strategy via insightful analysis and best practice processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintaining and developing robust financial processes, controls, and systems underpinning the businesses reporting.
  • Interrogating financial systems to provide thought-provoking analysis and drive informed decision-making.
  • Effectively managing group cashflow and FX positions, ensuring optimal liquidity and minimizing risk.
  • Reviewing monthly management accounts/forecasts and overseeing the annual budget process.
  • Developing and managing a commercial estimating/costing platform to support new business opportunities and drive growth.
  • Providing detailed financial analysis to support business decisions and objectives.
  • Preparing monthly management packs and ad-hoc reporting to stakeholders.
  • Supporting costing and analysis for large sales opportunities, ensuring accurate pricing and profitability.
  • Challenging the status quo with strategic thinking and innovative problem-solving.
  • Collaborating with suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders on contractual, legislative, and insurance matters.
  • Leveraging expertise to lead the business through successful audits at divisional and group levels.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must be a qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA with over 5 years PQE and possess excellent commercial acumen. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, are essential for success in this position.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £80,000 - £100,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.
