Job Description

Clarke Energy is a leading specialist in the engineering, installation, and maintenance of sustainable energy solutions. As a multinational company, we strive to support the global net-zero transition.

Role and Responsibilities

This role will be responsible for meeting the purchasing requirements of Clarke Energy, ensuring best value for the company by selecting the right product on the basis of price, quality, and supplier reliability.

  • Manage the purchasing cycle in accordance with agreed procedures and quality standards.
  • Identify and deal with issues as they arise, liaising with internal customers.
  • Monitor supplier performance and apply agreed procedures to assess potential suppliers for their suitability to be included on the CEL approved supplier list.
  • Manage CIS status of approved suppliers and use computerised systems to monitor the progress of orders and jobs.
Key Skills and Experience

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience of working in a busy office environment.
  • Good IT skills, including experience of working with Excel.
  • Experience of working with ordering, stock control, and accounting systems.
  • Awareness of financial analysis techniques.
  • Experience in Ireland/European Markets would be an advantage.
Working Arrangements

This is a full-time permanent position, based in our head office in Liverpool with the option of home working. There will be an element of travel for the role as we cover the UK & Ireland.
