Acoustic Analyst - Submarine Signature

Full Time, On-site.

We are seeking a skilled acoustic analyst to join our growing team within Rolls-Royce Submarines. The successful candidate will primarily be delivering acoustic predictions using engineering analysis/CAE (e.g. FEA/FEM, SEA) and providing advice and guidance to the boat programmes to ensure NSRP signature targets are met:

1. Strategic thinking to build on the business vision for the future of the signature capability.
2. Liaising with the boat programmes, customers, and various stakeholders in the signature enterprise.
3. Undertaking work relating to analysis/CAE, analysis methods V&V and uncertainty qualification.
4. Supporting product V&V through relevant testing or commissioning programmes to ensure acoustic targets are met.
   1. Bachelor's degree, Master's or PhD in Engineering or regional equivalent qualification or equivalent technical capability based on practical knowledge and experience.
   2. Able to prioritise tasks and work effectively on multiple projects at the same time.
   3. Desire to actively promote, encourage and support the identification and implementation of continuous improvement of tools, processes and methods both within and outside their immediate sphere and prompt action across the wider team.

Requirements

To work for Rolls-Royce Submarines you need to hold a Security Check (SC) clearance without any caveats to that clearance. Rolls-Royce will support the application for Security Clearance if you don't currently already have this in place.

Due to the nature of work the business conducts and the protection of certain assets, you must hold a UK nationality.
