Casualty Fraud Solicitor

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor to join our Casualty Fraud Team in Manchester. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert defence services for public and employers' liability claims across both private and public sectors.

• Manage a caseload of predominantly fast-track claims (and/or multi-track depending on experience) where fraud is suspected
• Handle direct instructions from insureds and insurers, and manage internal referrals involving commercial, public sector, and insurance clients
• Oversee day-to-day case activities including client, opponent, court, and witness interactions, and conduct liability investigations
• Utilise a specialist team for intelligence searches and counter fraud enquiries

• Personal Injury (PI), including EL and PL (Highways)
• Housing disrepair
• Property damage
• Complete MI procedures as required
• Meet financial and chargeable targets
• Adhere to deadlines, SLAs, quality measures, and KPIs
• Comply with relevant policies and procedures

• Qualified Solicitor/Legal Executive with a strong interest in casualty claims and fraud
• 4+ years' PQE (preferred but not essential)
• Experience handling defendant EL/PL casualty claims essential
• Experience with defendant EL/PL specific fraud claims desirable
• Knowledge of PL, EL, Highways, and Housing Law
• Strong caseload management, drafting, influencing, communication, and team working skills
