Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lecturer in English Studies to join our team at Uxbridge College. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching, learning, and assessment in GCSE and Functional Skills for English within our cross-College provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To design and deliver engaging lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students
  • To assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to promote improvement
  • To collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • To maintain accurate records of student progress and achievement

Requirements:

  • Possession of a relevant degree or equivalent qualification
  • Experience of teaching GCSE and Functional Skills for English
  • Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
