About the Role

  • Location: Manchester area (exact location dependent on role)
  • Estimated Salary: £48,930 per annum
  • Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off, Monday-Sunday, 06:00-18:00
  • Benefits: Van + 10% Bonus + Pension + 23.5 days holiday + More

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on all mechanical tasks and provide support for electrical issues when required.
  • Resolve reactive breakdowns and participate in planned yearly shutdowns.
  • Travel to other sites in the area when necessary and mentor apprentices during their development.

Requirements

  • NVQ level 3 in engineering discipline or equivalent.
  • Significant experience with mechanical maintenance for industrial machinery including conveyors, motors, gearboxes, mobile plant equipment etc.
  • Familiarity with welding/fabrication techniques.
