Job Description

Clackmannanshire Council is seeking a Casual Catering Assistant to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing school meals and undertaking various kitchen duties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook food, including basic food preparation and simple cooking.
  • Set up and clear away equipment, crockery, and tables in the kitchen and dining room.
  • Maintain good hygiene and Health & Safety standards in the kitchen.
  • Provide excellent customer service and maintain good relations with customers.
  • Perform other duties as requested by the Senior Catering Assistant/Catering Supervisor.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will have basic food preparation and cooking skills, as well as good communication and teamwork skills. They will also be able to work well under supervision and maintain a high level of hygiene and Health & Safety standards.
