About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Duty Pharmacy Manager to join our team at Tesco Pharmacies. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and services to our customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and manage the pharmacy team to ensure seamless delivery of services and high-quality patient care.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve patient satisfaction, customer engagement, and business growth.
  • Collaborate with the pharmacy manager to lead, train, and develop colleagues.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with primary care networks, GPs' surgeries, and other healthcare stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate payment claims for NHS-covered items and maintain compliance with regulatory requirements.

Requirements

  • Pharmacy degree and membership in the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
  • Willingness to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and complete a DBS check before employment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Knowledge of pharmacy regulations, laws, and standards.
