Pharmacy Manager Opportunity

Spire Dunedin Hospital is seeking an experienced and capable Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy team. This role is ideal for someone who wants to deliver a comprehensive pharmacy service in a hospital setting.

About the Role

  • Provide an exemplary pharmacy service, adhering to current legislation, clinical requirements, and professional standards.
  • Offer advice and support to consultants, clinicians, and patients, ensuring safe, appropriate, and cost-effective use of medicines.
  • Lead, motivate, and effectively manage the pharmacy team, providing excellent leadership.
  • Advise on safe medicine management, ensuring compliance with current legislation and professional standards.
  • Lead quality improvement projects and audits within pharmacy, promoting a continuous learning culture.
  • Promote a patient-focused, multidisciplinary approach to delivering high-quality healthcare services.

Requirements

  • Be GPHC registered, with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Have experience working in a clinical setting as a Pharmacist.
  • Hold leadership/managerial experience in a Pharmacy setting.
  • Have awareness and knowledge of Oncology Pharmacy.
  • Share evidence-based practices with colleagues to enhance service and standards.
