Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced English GCSE teacher to work with resit students at an FE College in the Merseyside area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality classes to GCSE English pupils
  • Attend and contribute to staff meetings and professional development
  • Support students with low ability and low confidence, ensuring an inclusive and encouraging learning environment
  • Manage administrative tasks efficiently and use technology effectively in the classroom

Requirements:

  • A recognised teaching qualification and experience teaching English to GCSE Level
  • Strong administrative and time management skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a team player
  • Demonstrated ability to support and engage students with varying levels of ability and confidence
