Reed Finance is partnered with a leading manufacturer in Cookstown, in the appointment of an experienced Financial Reporting Specialist.

This is an excellent, progressive career opportunity, and the role is a key part of an established and collaborative team. Our client seeks to appoint an articulate, commercially savvy finance professional who will take ownership of the numbers, whilst being able to communicate effectively at all levels within the business. Responsibilities include:

  • Co-ordination and preparation of monthly management accounts including budgets, forecast and variance analysis
  • Preparation of the year-end accounts and Statutory Financial Statements
  • Calculate taxes owed and prepare tax returns; submit tax returns on time and track payments or refunds (VAT, Corporation Tax)
  • Manage relationships with the Internal and External Auditors
  • Understand and adhere to all financial and accounting regulations and legislation including Corporate Policies and Procedures
  • Create efficient methods for accounting and financial record-keeping and help to implement them

About the Role:

  • Candidates should possess a CIMA, ACA or ACCA qualification with relevant experience
  • 2-3 years' experience in similar financial accounting role - open to both industry and practice applicants with relevant experience
  • Ability to meet strict deadlines with accurate results
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional communication skills
