Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Accountant / Assistant Manager to join our client, an Accountancy Practice located in Wilmslow. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a varied portfolio of clients, ranging from sole traders to multi-million-pound businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

* Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
* Manage a team of junior accountants, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality work
* Develop and implement financial models and forecasts to help clients make informed business decisions
* Collaborate with clients to understand their financial needs and provide tailored solutions
* Stay up-to-date with changes in accounting and tax laws, ensuring clients are compliant

Requirements:

* 5+ years of experience in a practice environment
* AAT, ACA, or ACCA qualified or qualified by experience
* Strong technical skills, including proficiency in accounting software
* Excellent communication and leadership skills
