Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) Teacher to join our team for the summer term.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Curriculum Development and Delivery: Design and deliver high-quality MFL lessons aligned with the school's curriculum, incorporating engaging materials and activities to cater to diverse learning needs.
  • Differentiation and Individualisation: Understand the range of abilities within teaching groups and adapt teaching strategies accordingly. Promptly address concerns related to individual pupils in collaboration with the Head of MFL.
  • Assessment and Reporting: Assess student achievement according to departmental, school, and National Curriculum requirements. Use attainment data to set challenging targets and monitor student progress.
  • Professional Development and Collaboration: Attend department meetings, working groups, and parent meetings. Stay informed about new developments in MFL education and contribute to ongoing professional growth.
Requirements
  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or relevant teaching certificate.
  • Proficiency in French and/or Spanish.
  • Strong communication skills and a passion for language teaching.
