The RoleThe key responsibilities include:
- Assessing groundwater flow through analytical techniques
- Creating detailed technical documentation, along with strong communication and organizational abilities
- Employing water modeling software
- Interacting with regulatory agencies such as the Environment Agency and SEPA
- Adhering to project timelines and financial constraints
- Occasional travel within the UK and possibly internationally
- Building solid relationships with clients, team members, and regulatory bodies
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in tackling complex Hydrogeological challenges and conducting both quantitative and qualitative evaluations to a high standard.
Preferred qualifications and experience:- A postgraduate degree in Hydrogeology or a related discipline
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in a consultancy environment
- Familiarity with GIS software is a plus
- Professional accreditation is advantageous
- A valid driving license is required
