Job Title: Secondary School Mathematics Educator

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher for a long-term position at a secondary school in Wigan, Greater Manchester. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4, fostering a deep understanding of mathematical concepts and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver comprehensive Mathematics lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
  • Inspire students to explore mathematical concepts and develop problem-solving abilities.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching Mathematics at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
  • Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.

Estimated Salary: £20,000 - £35,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
