Pricing Methodology Actuary

We are seeking a skilled actuary to play a key role in shaping the future of our new business portfolios. As a Pricing Methodology Actuary, you will be responsible for developing and improving pricing processes and methodologies, as well as producing reports and dashboards to monitor and steer new business portfolios.

About the Role

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and implementing pricing methodologies and data analytics for steering new business portfolios
  • Improving pricing processes and methodologies to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Producing reports, dashboards, and tools to monitor and steer new business portfolios
  • Supporting the development of costing tools and parameters such as risk capital factors and margin targets
About the Team

You will be part of our global L&H Pricing and Contracts team, led by the Chief Pricing Officer L&H. Our team engages with the L&H pricing community, supports new business steering, portfolio management, transactions, and new product developments.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Nearly or recently qualified actuary
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, R, or other coding language
  • 5+ years of experience in L&H in an actuarial domain is preferred
  • Agile and flexible working style, proven ability to work independently
