Food Service Associate

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual to join our Hub Café Team at Kellogg College as a Barista. The ideal candidate will be able to provide excellent customer service, prepare food and drinks to a high standard, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
The successful candidate will have a Level 1 food safety and preparation qualification or relevant experience, as well as basic allergen awareness training or good knowledge of the main food allergens. They will also have demonstrable experience of providing good customer service, juggling multiple tasks, and managing competing deadlines while remaining calm under pressure.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the coffee machine, ensuring it is in good working order and updating temperature records. You will also liaise with fresh food suppliers to ensure stock levels are maintained and check deliveries to ensure food arrives in good condition and as ordered. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with Food Safety and Health & Safety legislation regulations, as well as all risk assessments.
