Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Geography Teacher to join our team at Wayman Group. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching Geography to Key Stage 3/4 and be able to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires the teacher to be able to teach Geography to Key Stage 3/4, with a focus on delivering high-quality lessons and achieving excellent results. The successful candidate will be part of a strong and supportive department, with access to new facilities and a good team to work with.

Responsibilities

The Geography Teacher will be responsible for:

  • Teaching Geography to Key Stage 3/4
  • Developing and implementing engaging lesson plans
  • Differentiating instruction to meet the needs of a wide range of abilities
  • Assessing student progress and providing feedback
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve departmental goals

Requirements

To be successful in this role, the Geography Teacher will need to have:

  • QTS or PGCE
  • A degree in the relevant subject
  • Experience of teaching Geography to Key Stage 3/4
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
