About the Role: We are proud to be working with a local construction industry client who is looking for an experienced and confident SAGE 50 Assistant to join their team. This role is perfect for someone with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

Job Description:
The successful candidate will have a strong background in SAGE 50 and be able to manage sales and purchase ledgers, perform bank reconciliations, and process VAT returns. They will also be responsible for handling bank payments and general administrative tasks, maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, and assisting in the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports.

Key Skills:
  • Proven experience using SAGE 50 software.
  • Previous experience more important than formal qualifications.
  • Must be capable of working unsupervised.
  • Strong demonstrated experience working in finance or accounts.
  • Good IT skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • General administrative experience.
