Recreation Coordinator

As a Recreation Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring everything runs smoothly, from children's parties to special events. You'll be the face of our centre, providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our community.

Main Responsibilities:

• Assist with daily operations, including set-ups, take-downs, and changeovers
• Prepare areas for activities and special events
• Assist with deliveries, storage, and stock control
• Support customers in using our facilities and promote our services
• Establish and maintain excellent relationships with our customers
• Adhere to health and safety procedures, customer service standards, and uniform policy

Hygiene and Safety

• Champion health and safety policies and procedures
• Carry out hygiene and safety checks as needed
• Support managing customer flow and expectation of waiting times
• Undertake daily cleaning and maintenance of equipment and fittings

Requirements

• Understanding of relevant health and safety legislation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Good numerical and written skills
• Good physical fitness
• Ability to work flexibly to meet customer needs
