Engineering Surveyor

We are seeking an experienced Site Operations Specialist to join our team at Morgan Sindall Construction. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day activities on site, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.

Your primary responsibility will be to oversee the setting out and surveying of engineering and building works across various sites in the region. You will ensure that all work is carried out to the highest standards, meeting quality control requirements and adhering to health and safety regulations.

A sound understanding of construction methods, legal regulations, and industry best practices is essential for this role. You will work closely with our project teams to deliver high-quality projects that meet the needs of our clients.

• Oversee the setting out and surveying of engineering and building works
• Ensure quality control requirements are met and recorded
• Operate and promote a high standard of health and safety and environmental compliance
• Supervise a team of engineers and technicians

• Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant industry subject
• Proven experience as a Site Engineer or similar role
• CSCS 5-day safety qualification and relevant CSCS card
• Sound knowledge of construction methods, Health & Safety, and legal regulations
• Good planning and time management skills

The estimated salary for this position is around £55,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience.
