Are you an experienced Field Service Engineer with a strong electrical bias and a proven track record of working with 18th edition regulations?

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our National Response Team, providing high-quality technical expertise to our customers across the UK.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Deliver exceptional field-based technical support to customers, ensuring timely and effective resolution of electrical and electromechanical issues.
  2. Utilize strong technical electrical and electronics skills, with a minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical or electrical engineering.
  3. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs, providing tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of services, including commissioning, repairs, and servicing.
  5. Stay up-to-date with industry developments, best practices, and regulatory requirements, applying this knowledge to drive continuous improvement.
  6. Work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and internal teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and open communication.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary of £35,000pa, with a realistic salary of £45,000+ and additional benefits, including 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, pension contribution, and more.

Requirements:

  • Good technical electrical and electronics skills, with a minimum HNC or similar qualification in electromechanical or electrical engineering.
  • Experience in a field service role, with a strong understanding of customer service principles and practices.
  • PLC programming and knowledge of PC hardware an advantage.
  • Good PC literacy and methodical approach to problem-solving.
  • Full current UK driving license.
  • Good customer service skills and flexibility to work overtime, including weekends as required.
