Our client, a prominent national logistics provider, is seeking additional HGV 1 Drivers to enhance their operations. We have openings for both Day and Night shifts.

Position Overview

Day Drivers:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Starting times vary
  • 1-6 deliveries per shift
  • Shifts lasting 10-12 hours
  • Curtain-sided palletized deliveries
  • Hourly rate of £17.00

Night Drivers:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Starting times vary
  • Trunking to three locations weekly
  • Shifts lasting 10-13 hours
  • Hourly rate of £18.00

or

  • Sunday to Thursday
  • Starting times vary
  • Trunking to a designated location
  • Wagon and Drag operation
  • Shifts lasting 8-12 hours
  • Hourly rate of £18.00

Candidate Requirements

  • Valid UK Category C+E Driver's License
  • Current UK Driver and DQC Cards
  • No more than 6 penalty points - No DD, DR, or CD endorsements
  • Available for ongoing assignments
  • Understanding of the Working Time Directive and Highway Code
  • Attention to vehicle inspections and reporting of any issues
