We are seeking an experienced Environmental Health Housing Officer to join our team at South Kesteven District Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering the council's environmental protection functions, including investigating statutory nuisance complaints, pollution control, and environmental permitting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Investigate statutory nuisance complaints and take enforcement action as necessary
  • Provide day-to-day supervision, advice, guidance, and technical and developmental support to environmental protection officers
  • Comment on planning and licensing applications
  • Provide technical and developmental support to the environmental protection team

Requirements:

  • Experience in environmental health and housing
  • Strong knowledge of environmental protection legislation and regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Salary: SK14 - SK16 (£39,027 - £42,930)

Contract: Permanent

This role is not politically restricted.
