Membership Experience Host

Everlast Gyms is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Membership Experience Host. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, maximizing member and guest experiences, and contributing to the sales and retention of memberships.

Main Responsibilities:
  • To provide exceptional customer service and ensure a positive experience for every member and guest.
  • To support the sales and retention of memberships through effective communication and relationship-building.
  • To maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in the club, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for members and guests.
  • To be a competent key holder of the club, covering shifts as required and ensuring the smooth operation of the club.
  • To have a good understanding of the membership software system and use it to effectively manage member data and communicate with members.
  • To stay up-to-date with current fitness challenges, class descriptions, and gym floor focus, and participate in these initiatives to enhance the member experience.
  • To support the Fitness Manager with gym floor operations and ensure that all areas of the club are maintained to a high standard.
  • To ensure that all members and guests are aware of the products and services offered by the club and are able to access these effectively.
  • To maintain a clean and tidy environment in the club, including the facilities and equipment, and to report any issues or concerns to the management team.
  • To drive secondary spend KPI targets and contribute to the overall success of the club.
  • To effectively deal with member complaints and concerns, and to escalate these to the relevant manager as required.

Requirements:
  • Outgoing personality with a positive mindset and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Competent with all administrative duties, including data entry and communication with members.
  • Driven and ambitious individual with a keen desire to learn and develop both behaviours and competencies specific to the role.
  • Willing and able to participate in learning and development opportunities to progress both competencies and career.
  • Able to drop into operational key holder duties as required and to support the team in achieving club goals.
  • Passionate about fitness, administration, and customer service, with a focus on delivering exceptional member experiences.
  • Flexible and able to work shifts to suit the needs of the business, and to take on additional duties where required to support the team.
  • Target-focused and able to contribute to the overall success of the club, including sales and retention targets.
