About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Interaction Designer to join our team at Manchester Digital. As a key member of our design community, you will play a crucial role in shaping the user experience of our digital services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design of user-centered digital services, ensuring they are accessible, inclusive, and meet the needs of our users.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize design opportunities, and develop design solutions that meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of user needs, behaviors, and motivations, and use this knowledge to inform design decisions.
  • Design and deliver design systems, patterns, and guidelines that support the development of consistent and user-friendly digital services.
  • Contribute to the development of the design community, sharing knowledge, expertise, and best practices with colleagues.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in interaction design, with a strong portfolio that demonstrates your skills and expertise.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong understanding of user-centered design principles, human-centered design, and design thinking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Experience with design tools, such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD.
