About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Software Development Manager to join our team in Halifax. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the needs of our customers and stakeholders.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in software engineering, data engineering, and modern development toolsets such as Cloud, API development, Kafka, APIGEE, JavaScript, and Node.JS.

In this role, you will work closely with product owners to deliver customer-driven software products, adhering to enterprise architecture principles and design patterns across the full development lifecycle.

You will also lead data engineering teams to build new data estates, replacing legacy architecture, and have expert knowledge of modern development toolsets.

The estimated salary for this role is £86,964 - £102,310 per annum, depending on experience.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality software solutions that meet customer needs and stakeholder expectations.
  2. Lead data engineering teams to build new data estates, replacing legacy architecture.
  3. Develop and implement modern development toolsets, including Cloud, API development, Kafka, APIGEE, JavaScript, and Node.JS.
