Mental Health Practitioner

Cambian Group, the UK's leading provider of specialist services in children's residential care, education, and mental health rehabilitation, is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Practitioner to join their team.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working in CAMHS settings, specifically within Looked After Children's services or a therapeutic environment.
As a Mental Health Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing regular consultation to 5-6 care homes, aiding their therapeutic work with looked after children. This will involve training, reflective practice, care planning, and management, ensuring PACE principles are embedded in practice.
You will also be required to provide specialist assessments of children and young people within the residential setting and create regular psychological reports.
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic, motivated, and forward-thinking Mental Health Practitioner with excellent communication skills and a strong team player.
Essential qualifications include a Mental Health background, CAMHS experience, relevant qualifications for long-term therapy, and registration with the relevant professional organisation.
Previous experience working with children and adolescents is advantageous.
