Key Responsibilities- Lead and Develop a Small Team: You will lead and develop a small team responsible for the maintenance, monitoring, development, and continual improvement of our local Quality, Health, and Safety, and Environmental Management Systems.
- Provide Systems Compliance Support: You will provide an efficient and effective systems compliance support service, working closely with Arjo UKI Sales, Service, and Rental Teams, and other stakeholders across the business to promote and ensure compliance to our management systems, regulatory requirements, and other standards.
- Monitor Performance and Manage Risk: You will monitor performance and manage risk, ensuring that our business operations are in line with company policies and procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Internal and External Audits: You will control and implement internal audits of the Integrated Management System, and report findings to local management and other stakeholders appropriately.
- Project Participation and Management: You will support the business with projects to ensure compliance and that quality, environmental, and health and safety requirements are considered and met within project scope.
- Education and Experience: You will have a degree or diploma in Occupational Health and Safety, and/or Environmental Health, as a minimum. You will have at least 5 years' experience working within a SHEQ/Compliance environment, and at least 2 years' experience in managing a team.
- Skills and Knowledge: You will have a sound working knowledge of Quality, Health, and Safety, and Environmental standards and relevant legislation. You will have working knowledge and experience of ISO management systems, specifically ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001.
- Training and Presentation: You will be a competent trainer and presenter, with experience in delivering QHSE training.
- Communication and Teamwork: You will have excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work with minimum supervision to agreed timescales, and to prioritize workload to maximize results.
