Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Pension Scheme Administrator to join our team at Northampton Business Directory. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering various pension schemes, ensuring accurate processing of payroll, pension contributions, and compliance with legal requirements.

About the Role
  • Administer a range of pension schemes, including LGPS and NHS
  • Process joiners, leavers, retirements, and transfers accurately and in a timely manner
  • Maintain and update pension records, ensuring data accuracy
  • Calculate and process pension benefits in line with scheme rules and regulatory requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Administering pension schemes
  2. Processing payroll and pension operations
  3. Maintaining pension records
  4. Ensuring compliance with pensions legislation

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing pensions schemes
  • Good understanding of payroll processes and tax regulations
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll software (e.g., Sage, Xero)

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
