Our client, a leading manufacturer, is seeking a skilled Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician to join their team at their Erith plant.

As an Electrical & Instrumentation Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out reactive, planned, preventative, and predictive maintenance on all types of equipment, machinery, and processes operated across the production plant.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Completing basic mechanical tasks independently and supporting in those of a more complex nature.
  • Completing inspection audit documents for record-keeping purposes and providing plant condition feedback.
  • Conducting routine inspection and maintenance of operational plant and infrastructure services.
  • Undertaking electrical, instrumentation, automation control, and calibration as appropriate.
  • Performing electrical isolations as part of the Co s Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) safe system of work.
  • Working as part of the maintenance team to ensure safe and efficient operation of the plant.
  • Establishing and maintaining good housekeeping standards in all areas of influence and observing good manufacturing practice (GMP) standards.

Requirements:

  • Time served apprentice or have other relevant demonstrable training.
  • Qualified to ONC/HNC/NVQ3/C&G standards or equivalent.
  • Industrial engineering, maintenance, or improvement activity background.
  • Minimum 5 years industrial experience.
  • Good communication skills, computer literate.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, performance and results orientated.
  • Ability to problem solve and seeks continuous improvements.
  • Good team player who can demonstrate reliability.
  • Ability to work at heights.

Salary: £47,250 pa

Location: Kent/SE London Border

Hours: Day shift

Benefits: 25 days leave + BH, health care, free parking, union
