About the Role

Sheppey College, part of the East Kent Colleges Group, is seeking a skilled professional to lead our client-centred vocational progression programme of careers education. As a Career and Progression Officer, you will provide comprehensive information, advice, guidance, and careers education to support the progression of existing and potential students.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering enriching careers sessions for all students at the college
  • Supporting strong work and academic outcomes
  • Providing guidance on career options, education, and employment
  • Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement careers education initiatives

The ideal candidate will have a background in careers guidance, a passion for creating inspiring careers provision, and excellent communication skills. A Level 6 qualification in Information Advice and Guidance is desirable. If you are a motivated individual with a commitment to raising aspirations of young people, we encourage you to apply.
