Job Title: Cost Assurance Consultant

Job Summary:

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cost Assurance Consultant to join our specialist Cost & Supply Chain Assurance team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and scrutinizing actual incurred costs, driving supply chain improvement and efficiency, and delivering successful Cost Assurance commissions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review construction contractor systems, controls, and processes to provide a view on their ways of working, using industry intelligence to build a view on best practice.
  • Analyze and understand complex construction contracts.
  • Plan financial audits by understanding our clients' objectives and risk areas, as well as the supply chains' structure, policies, and processes.
  • Perform testing of data and information using smart techniques and tools such as data visualization and trend/pattern analysis.
  • Produce findings reports that deliver key findings, recommendations, and messages in a succinct and professional manner.
  • Foster good quality working relationships with clients and those being reviewed built around trust and professionalism.
  • Assist the maintenance of internal systems to ensure commission and financial management is compliant with business processes.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience or a sound and suitable understanding of data analysis, time management, assessment of accuracy and entitlement to costs, report writing, and construction industry technical matters.
  • Contract Management - NEC3/4 (Option C, E) preferred.
