We are a leading airline with a strong presence in Europe, and we're looking for a skilled Senior Developer to join our Digital Channels team.

Job Purpose

The Senior Developer will be responsible for the code-level development and maintenance of our front-end applications, adhering to industry standards and best practices. This role will work closely with architecture, business analysts, developers, and delivery managers to deliver new products and services to meet the needs of projects and programmes within our prioritized portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Identify, mitigate, or resolve technical risks within the solution, ensuring any risks or issues are clearly communicated and managed.
  2. Contribute to agile ceremonies and the maturing of our dev-sec-ops capacities.
  3. Provide technical leadership and support within the team, including mentoring, coaching, and guiding more junior members.

Requirements

  1. Demonstrable experience in developing solutions using React, Next.JS,.NET.
  2. Experience working with content management systems.
  3. Experience of development in an Agile environment and adherence to agile software delivery principles.
  4. Experience of testing at multiple levels, including Test Driven Development (TDD) and Behaviour Driven Development (BDD).
  5. Demonstrable experience of providing technical leadership within development teams.
  6. Practical and in-depth knowledge of code and database refactoring techniques.
  7. Good understanding of network and infrastructure concepts.
  8. Experience of DevOps and cloud technologies (AWS).
  9. Experience of software-automation production systems (Github).
  10. Experience of code deployment tools.
