Educational Historian

Job Description: Deliver engaging History lessons to Key Stages 3 and 4 at a secondary school in Oldham, inspiring students to explore historical contexts and develop analytical skills.

Salary: £200 per day

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver comprehensive History lessons, ensuring alignment with the national curriculum.
• Inspire students to explore historical contexts and develop analytical skills.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to ensure academic success.
• Prepare students for GCSE examinations, ensuring they achieve their academic potential.
• Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to curriculum development.

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching History at Key Stages 3 and 4 in a UK secondary school.
• Strong subject knowledge with the ability to create an engaging learning environment.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and student success.
