About the Role

University College Birmingham is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Crafts Instructor. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction, assessing student progress, and contributing to curriculum development.

We are looking for an experienced educator to join our faculty, teaching carpentry and multi-skills courses at the Further Education level. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and related fields, with experience in teaching and learning.

The salary range for this position is £34,866 - £42,632 per annum, AC2.

  • Deliver lectures and practical sessions on carpentry and multi-skills courses
  • Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
  • Contribute to the development of course materials and resources
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and assessment results
